AB1282 OVARIAN RESERVE IN BEHCET’S DISEASE
نویسندگان
چکیده
Background Behcet’s disease (BD) is a multisystemic of unknown cause. Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) one the key parameters for assessing reproductive function and ovarian reserve. The levels AMH correlates with residual follicular pool in women age. Objectives To assess BD female patients child-bearing potential, analyze relationship between severity, as well serum different therapeutic regimens. Methods study group included 45 (according to ISGBD 1990 ICBD 2014) aged 20-40 years, control icluded 15 age-matching healthy women. Pts’ mean age was 31,3 [27;35] yrs, duration 6 [3;8] yrs. 17,8% pts had severe according Ch.Zouboulis classification (due generalized uveitis, retinal vasculitis parenchymatous CNS lesions), 37,8% moderate disease, 44,4% mild mainly dermal-mucous manifestations. measured using ELISA. reference values ranged within 1.0-10.6 ng / ml. Values <1.0 were interpreted decreased Results 2.5 ng/ml pts, 3.1 group, showing no statistical difference. A decrease reserve (AMH less than 1.0 ng/ml) observed same frequency 18% patient’s vs. 13%. In analysis AMH, depending on severity BD, more often forms BD. Table 1. mild, n=20 n=17 severe, n= 8 p АMH 2,7 [1,6-3,5] 2,5 [1,0-3,7] 1,9 [0,8;6,7] ns >1 ng/ml, % 10 23 25 0,02 There are correlations treatment noted two under 30 years old, 29 old woman “Neurobehcet” children, patient BB+AS not married, pregnancies, received colchicine therapy long time. Two low pregnancies - unmarried, all other reduced from 1 children. When analyzing clinical picture therapy, found. Conclusion average did differ. occurred controls. متن کاملRole of Cytokines in Behcets Disease
Behcets disease (BD) is considered a chronic relapsing multisystem inflammatory disorder. It has a worldwide distribution, but it is more prevalent in Mediterranean countries. Although its etiopathogenesis remains elusive, Immunological investigations have demonstrated the presence of immune dysregulation among the patients with BD. The disease is characterized by infiltration of lymphocytes an...
متن کاملAn Update on Ovarian Aging and Ovarian Reserve Tests
Ovaries are the female organs that age more quickly than other tissues such as the uterus, the pituitary gland or pancreas. Different from males, an interesting question is why and how the females lose fertility so rapidly. During the aging process, both the number and quality of the oocytes in the ovaries decrease and reach to a point beyond that no more viable offspring may be produced and th...
متن کاملI-32: Management of Diminished Ovarian Reserve
The standard goal of all fertility treatments is the improvement of pregnancy rates in infertile patients. Within the last 20 years, ovulation induction has contributed to the success of assisted reproduction techniques e.g. in vitro fertilization (IVF) and embryo-transfer (ET). The efficacy of these techniques depends on a personalized protocol of controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) and ...
متن کاملBiomarkers of Ovarian Reserve
The primary function of the female ovary is the production of a mature and viable oocyte capable of fertilization and subsequent embryo development and implantation. At birth, the ovary contains a finite number of oocytes available for folliculogenesis. This finite number of available oocytes is termed "the ovarian reserve". The determination of ovarian reserve is important in the assessment an...
